For those of you that don't know, The Order of the Stick is probably the funniest comic in existence that revolves around Dungeons & Dragons. Hell, it might be the funniest comic ever, period. I've nearly pissed myself reading some of them.
Anyway, in 2005, the character Haley started speaking in gibberish. At least, that's what it looked like at first. Belkar mentioned cryptograms the next day, so I went back to see if I could decode what she was saying, and lo and behold, she WAS speaking in cryptograms. And he used a different one each day.
Now, the geek in me just couldn't let a challenge like that go unanswered, so I decoded each and every one of those cryptograms. Thirty-one total. I then took it upon myself to alter the original text so that someone can easily read what is being said. I've posted the results below. Haley's decoded speech is in red. The code is above each image.
Please keep in mind that I did not create the comic, nor contribute to the writing or artwork in any way therein. This is entirely Rich Burlew. I just cracked the code and posted the results so people could see how cool (geeky) I really am. I will remove this section promptly if it displeases him. I'm not trying to infringe on Rich's copyright, and I have nothing but the greatest respect for his work.
